Bangi Food Street

Introduction of Bangimatol (Food Alley)

There are many delicious restaurants in the Jamsil Special Tourist Zone, but the Bangimatol (Food Alley) is particularly filled with so many restaurants that it is often called a “gourmet street.” You can find office workers lined up here during lunch hours. It is often called, “Bangi-dong Meokjagolmok,” which directly translates to “Bangi-dong Food Alley.” The Bangi Food Alley starts across from KT Plaza next to Songpa-gu Office. It is largely divided into the “Old Food Alley” and “New Food Alley.” The Old Food Alley started to form in the early 1990s when Songpa-gu Office opened its doors, and then the New Food Alley began to form across from South Gate 2 of Olympic Park.
